If you mean the system then... nope. The display on my classic drains the battery more than the system on my Classic, even when it's set to the lowest possible setting. Because the keyboard backlight is always on.
System is second though.

I think he means the human attached to the phone. No doubt that's the biggest battery drain, as the phone is never given a moments rest.....

I do believe you are correct, although your sampling Poll may not have accounted for battery deterioration.
