Anytime i upgrade to my Tmobile STL1-003 (specifically 10.3.1.1154) to anything beyond 10.3.1.xxxxxx I cant boot up after a battery pull. The LED will flash twice, then pause, then flash 4 times, (this sequence repeats). The only way i can get it to boot is to connect it to a PC (without the battery) then put the battery in. Then it will boot up.
Restoring in BB link back to the official 10.2.1.xxxx fixes the issue. Any ideas? I really like 10.3.1 and would like to stay
EDIT: dammit, title spelling, should be boot not book, mod if you could change this it would be much apreciated
(Thanks for fixing title mod)
EDIT 2: I think have found the issue. Running the 10.3.1.1154 autoloader on Windows 10 somehow screws up the install. Running it on a different PC running windows 7 seems to have fixed the issue.
Ill make another edit in 24 hours to check to confirm its fixed. Autoloading on Windows 10 should be avoided
Thanks for all the help

Sounds so similar to the tethered jailbreak in the iPhone4 scenario years ago. Anyway, that is not related to you or is going to help you. I just said what I remembered
did that. Going back to official 10.2.1 through BBlink fixes it. However I really like 10.3.1 on my q10 (with no issues) am trying to get it loaded on my z10
yes, checked that a few time. It boots up after connecting to PC momentarily and i can use it without issue until I do a battery pull, then it is unable to boot up and flashes the code. I have checked the autoloader many times to make sure. been using this link https://mega.co.nz/#!AtYgiSpa!Igq4Vf...baAAGJCBM0rhq0
no blue LED. Only red flashing the before mentioned code. Read though that thread to make sure i didnt have the same issue.
I'll try the alternative link BigBadWulf. Thanks, will report back if fixed.
I dont do a security wipe. To get it back to working i do just a restore in BBlink. I have also tried SIC wipe and then an autoloader and the issue remains.

Do a security wipe after the install, then do a restore.
Ok so after countless reloads, I tried an autoloader on a different computer running windows 7, (Was using windows 10 Tech Preview) (Havent had any other issues with autoloaders with Windows 10 until now.) Running the autoloader on W7 seems to have fixed it.
So
Dont autoload on Windows 10
Have done 3 battery pulls and reboots without issue. Boots up fine now

Pulling batteries again!! Oh no! Good way to corrupt the os...unless of course you are shutting phone completely down first...or if it is completely frozen and nothing else works...
I'm using Windows 10 and have autoloaded OS'es, including 13.1.0.1154, on two different Passport's multiple times and have had no problems whatsoever.
If you really are experiencing problems with autoloader and Windows 10 you should run the autoloader in compatibility mode. This is done by right clicking on the executable, then click on properties click the compatibility tab in the window that appears and then click the checkmark to : "Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 7'
The only problem i've faced with W10 is that uninstalling BlackBerry Link is problematic but that's a different story
I've been using Windows 10 Tech Preview since late September and I've not had a single issue (at all) even with anything concerning BlackBerry 10. Must have been a weird freak mistake

Crackberry Genius on Verizon Z10 on10.3.1.1154
Was thinking this exact same thing when I read a battery pull, and the fact it was happening AFTER pulling the battery. Leading me to believe he's possible corrupting the OS.

Probably something on my end. Im just going to do autoloads on my mac running windows 7. Still running good now. Its really a strange issue as I autoload my Q10 on my Windows 10 computer fine with no issues. Ill try compatibility mode in the future
