By looking at all the new threads it looks like everyone is having a few problems with the official OTA.

Just curious for all the people who say they only do official will they be trying leaks now instead of waiting.

Personally I have not had an official OS on my device until the day the first OS got leaked. And I honestly can say I've had very few problems. Maybe a couple tiny things that I can live with but over all it just keeps getting better.

Pls leave your thoughts or your two cents.

Can't remember when the last time I was on official. Always on leaks, especially when we have Autoloader being dropped. Prefer start from scratch.

My carrier has released 10.3.1.2243 but I've loaded 2267. Less flickering on Passport comparing to 2243.

But, hey it's just me..

Being with Verizon the only official I have ever had was the one the phone came with. So it's leaks for me. Never any big issues with them either.

I'll never do official. And when official catches up to what I already have on my device, I can't wait for the next leak to stay ahead of the crowd. Rarely have issues. Even the flicker is very rare on my Passport. And very minimal. Have had one in two weeks since I loaded the leak.

Always clean install with autoloader. No restore. Ever.

It's matter of personal preference which one is better for me, not sure better for them

Personally I do both destructive or non destructive update (which is same like OTA) and never had problems

If you having problem with your phone ask nicely here in crackberry I'm sure many nice people gladly will help you

It's leaks for me.

I never did believe in that OTA stuff. Half the time you will have better results with other builds. The OTA files are the basically the same ones found in the leaks anyway. Take 10.3.1.2243 for example. It has a build date of Jan 27th and if you compare the files from 10.3.1.2267 to the leaked ones, their the same files as well.

Restore...meh.

Don't believe in it either. I always do a non-destructive if it's a simple update but always prefer a clean install with a big jump in builds.

Yes I never do a restore with BlackBerry link, I use apps like Back up pro and ContactX for anything I need to restore to my device.
