2813. Keep auto updates turned off. 2876 is a cancer and a nightmare.

I also have to vote for 2813. I was running 2876 with the 2813 Android bars on my Verizon Z10. Overall it worked fine but I did notice some strange issues in the hub. Sometimes I couldn't open emails or texts (the screen would just go slightly grey and then pop back into the hub). I also think the typing accuracy of the virtual keyboard is a little better in 2813.

I used Sachesi to roll back to 2813 with the official Verizon 859 radio. The phone works much better!

Yeah I'm having troubles with 2876 now with the ART. Tried uninstalling Facebook Lite and it almost crashed my phone. Thought I had uninstalled the Costco app but the app is still installed even though the app icon is gone. I get daily update notifications from 1Mobile about these apps which were suppose to be uninstalled.

Added to this I get daily low memory notifications because of these apps.

I'm waiting for another 10.3.2 leak but that probably won't happen anytime soon because 10.3.3 is close to release. I'm just grinding it out till then. I'm just too lazy now to spend the time to downgrade the OS just to upgrade again to 10.3.3? I'll wait.

Stick with 2813 until 10.3.3 releases.

Don't give up hope yet. It seems that someone is working on another 10.3.2.xxxx . Maybe a fix??

Just want to warn anyone who uses an autoloader to 2813.. in order to not have it check for updates and automatically download and install 2876 you have to keep your SIM card out and skip the WiFi setup.

Once you get in you have to go to settings and turn off auto update.

Even then it will try several times (even after you've put in your SIM and set up your wifi) to "compete setup" which if you press open on the "complete setup" it will turn your auto update back on an check for updates. You have to quickly go to your settings/updates and press "cancel download" and re-turn off your auto update.

Note: you have to skip the setup on the initial OS install because it will start downloading and you won't have time to do all that example screen stuff and get to settings before it's actually downloaded. So basically you have to skip it the first time, get into your phone and compete the setup and let it check for updates and cancel the update.

It's bound and determined to get you to update that OS to 2876. Just be watchful and look out for that.

Once you stop it, it seems to let the issue go. My battery life is way better than it was with 2876. My Z30 was starting to feel like a Z10 battery with that OS.

Can't you just turn off automatic updates?

I have mine off but yet every morning in the hub I have a notification about a software update. This is one time when I wish my phone wasn't unlocked and kind of envy the people who are not getting this update. It's just a minor annoyance I guess but unless you're really trying to avoid this update like I am, BlackBerry is probably tricking a lot of people into doing this. Makes me wonder if the android bug in this release was an accident at all.

I mean how hard is it for BlackBerry to pull this update? They know they are screwing up people's phones but yet they won't stop.

You have to let the update happen. THEN turn off automatic updates, and load the old Runtime bars again and reboot.

Make sure automatic updates is still turned off on reboot.

The trick is to catch it before it finds it for the first time, and it won't bug you.

Why oh why don't those dolts at BlackBerry emit 10.2.2877 comprising the working pieces of 2876 & those that broke from 2876 replaced with the 2813 routines? What a disgrace BlackBerry has become !!

2879 is on the BlackBerry servers right now. Hopefully containing the fix and pending approval.

More bad news re: 2876 from the BlackBerry Community Support. SMS and battery consumption issues are happening as well. BCS does not recommend installing this version of the OS period!

Rumor is that 2879 may be coming soon. Keep your fingers crossed.

    FYI.
