Is it best to keep 2 BlackBerry phones separated in 2 different BlackBerry id's? Both are for my use. One for in office / business and the other for mainly non business or after hours use. In office I will switch my sim over and end of day goes back into z30. Phones are usually always on wifi.

I know if you sign in with your BlackBerry id on another phone it transfers all your Bbm details and the old phone loses everything. I don't want that because I will lose chat history. Are there any other effects to phone when signing in to BlackBerry id being used from another phone?

In BlackBerry Link is it possible to have 2 BB10 devices on the same ID?

I realise if I create a new BlackBerry id for other phone my Bbm contacts will have 2 contacts for me, which isn't a big deal.

I'm just trying to get an idea how others do it.

At the current time, I know its not possible to have multiple BB10 devices on the same BB ID. I believe Blackberry is working on bringing that to allow end user to be able to do that.

I have a Z10 and Q10 on same BlackBerry ID. Only I cannot use BBM simultaneously on both.

When you use BBM on one phone do all the chats start as new conversations? And vice versa.

Thanks. Unfortunately that's what I expected.
Looks like I will just create a new BBID for other phone.

Yeah. It is cool for apps. No double pay. Sucks for BBM as you have to relink it to the phone your sim is in at the time. So fragmented conversations in both phones.

Before I learned about the transfer method to get apps from Q10 over to Z30 I was using two phones with one BlackBerry Id..worked flawlessly but I never had the need to use BBM on both at same time.
