I have a 32 gb SD card in my Z10 and just got a 64gb card and wasn't sure the best way to copy my data and pictures music and videos. I guess the options are drag and drop from phone to new card attached to computer (Mac) or old card attached to computer and drag to new card in phone or both cards attached to computer. About 11gb of data. Any advice? Thanks.

    Apologies for jumping in....

I recently bought a 64GB card. I transferred the data from my phone to my desktop, put the 64GB card in my Z10, formatted, then dragged/dropped the files. However, quite a high percentage of both pictures & vids would not play, or were not visible (maybe 10-15%). But I never enabled mass storage mode beforehand - do you think this would be why? If so, I'll give it another go.

Here's a few interesting things I learned. First of thanks to you guys for your advice. I didn't know about the different classes of SD cards and it is best to stick to name brand cards. The no name generic card I bought from eBay says it is class 10 but will not accept 1080p video and it says to upgrade to at least a class 4 so I'm assuming it is marked wrong. I'm sticking with my old SanDisk 32 card for now. Live and learn. Going to try to return the card. Oh well.

Patriot cards have the best no-return-rate according to my local Frys Superstore. I have used them since 2008. Never had a bad one. Never lost any pics or videos upon transfers either.
