Any suggestions for a quality Podcast app?

I would prefer one that has a extensive library for search queries, but if it can at least load podcasts from an external source that would be workable.

I'm not a podcast user myself, but one of the other mods was mentioning he liked bpod I think.. might be worth checking out.

I haven't implemented either yet but Bpod has a free version with most features it look slike and Podcasts To Go is in beta and free as well so you should be able to do your own comparison for free.

It appears they both use the same search (Gpodder.net).

P2G says it is built in native BB code and BPod has Built For Blackberry symbol.

If you try them out I owuld love to hear your feedback on their usability.

Looking at reviews it appears both had some issues since new OS 10.2.1 update.

I don't know if you can still get it, but Podtrapper by Versitle Monkey is still my go to podcast app of choice - it's awesome and is great for on and offline use.

The dev stopped actively developing it a couple of years back I think, but it was routinely raved about on CrackBerry until then. I've downloaded the Android version of it from the developer's site directly on my Q5 and it works great (although I do have my old BBOS activation code to register it).

bopd has worked for me, i went with the full paid version
a few changes i would like to see is sort from new to old over the old to new
the playback playlist works good but sometimes i find repeats the last played
i also would like to just pick a pod cast and play in order instead of adding to a playlist

the Gpodder.net seems to have alot of what i want for the built in search

Does nobex allow you to download podcasts?
What I really need is that ability to download when on wifi and listen when not connected.
    Thanks

Yes it does. Only downside, for me at least, is nobex stores the podcast internally within the app. So they can't be moved to the sd card.

Also, Nobex doesn't allow you to enter custom podcasts, you have to wait for them to enter your request

Works great hate the way you have to exit the app to refresh the podcasts though.

This is true. However it doesn't seem so bad. I submitted a podcast and was notified to look for it to show up in 15 minutes... it was available in less than 5.

That's my only experience though, but positive nonetheless.

    This.
Had a similar experience too. If you have the rss links then they are pretty easy to add.
