It is not only a problem of BB10 but also Android requires the use of 3rd party tools if you want to have the control of your device. So has BB user we have problems in both sides.

what system apps are helping you to keep your device working ?

At least I start this thread suggesting the following:
For BB10:
Ghost Commander
Contacts Imp/Exp
lucky patcher+cobalt's google apps(google services)

For Android apps using the runtime.
APK extractor
Advanced Task Killer (rechild)

BB10 system monitor is amazing but also I would like to control and monitor properly the android thing always chaotic. (on the runtime or on any android device)

I see how many people is saying that BB is dead, but as far as the OS is working fine and it is based in Unix flavour and QT, if the android runtime were working fine, you could have a proper OS and those apps that everyone needs working on it (of course out of control as the Android style but in the same way than someone else with the latest nexus model)

Bookmark Pro. Snap. AppNinja. Ghost commander and just downloaded Ultimate backup to try along with previously installed Backup Pro.

Best of the bunch so far is Bookmark Pro.

What about network tools? I am ware of the high quality of. Bb10 network tests when u are using wifi, but what about 3G?
How can I do a ping or nslookup when I am not using wifi?

You don't have to enable the Wi-Fi to access these tools They also work on Mobile Network.
