    Hello All!

The "stock" app that comes with Blackberry 10 does not allow deleting while playing. You have to go back and search for the song and then delete it off the device. There must be an app out there that will allow you to delete the song while you are playing it and move on to the next. I often download albums and don't have time to sort through them, or sometimes I get tired of songs and want to free up space since I mostly use FLAC's. Also if that app would be able to create playlists through metadata, etc...

    Thank you in advance!

How can you delete a file that's in use? I don't think any OS is capable of such a thing.

I think he means to delete the file from the app, not that it has to be playing.

Exactly! Like to stop and delete it. The problem is that with the current stock app - you have to go back, look through your list of hundreds or thousands of songs (or search through the songs), find that song, delete it through the submenu's, and then move on to play the next song. I want something more streamlined - play a song, don't want it, delete it, move to the next. Like so the delete option is right there in the song, without having to go back and searching through them and screwing up your que, etc...

Um there's artist and album views that make this pretty easy. Unless you have a lot of poorly tagged music that doesn't group well.

True, but I listen to music mostly at random. I don't want to sort through albums and try to find that song. I always do "all songs" and then shuffle them. I want to just be able to delete it from right there without having to go back and sort through the songs to find that one. I would spend half of my listening time sorting and looking for the song to delete instead of doing a quick delete right then and there.

This only works if you're in album view. If I knew what album I wanted to listen to I wouldn't be shuffling the songs and listening to all of them. I just want to delete songs as they come up (if I'm tired of them, or don't like them, etc...) without having to sort through every album. If it's on random, when you hit back you just see the alphabetical list of all songs, and it takes forever to have to search for it instead of it being right there...

Itube is a playlist manager for youtube though, not a player for mp3's and flacs that allows deleting of songs in the menu... There has to be a program out there that allows it.

Neutron will work. From here 'now playing ' screen, long press on the song title and the option to remove from the Playlist or the file system will come up.

YES this works perfectly and has so many awesome features. I think the SQ is better too, just wish the UI was a bit smoother but at least it gets the job done and more. Thank you!!!
