Rather than completely download this latest version, I decided to simply download using Sachesi (or think I downloaded) the BAR files (https://mega.co.nz/#!cMMlGZhJ!G-u0kT...A_Qb3Se8eVxRkQ) as made available by Master Kris !! Only thing is, my OS version still shows 4780, is that to be expected if using this method ??

Yep... all you did was install the updated apps.

For your OS version to show a change, you need to install the core OS and Radio files.

If you have a Q10 you will get the dark theme, if you install the beta BlackBerry Messenger you will get it white, your calendar comes out white now unless you install an older version that's black.
The rest is 10.2 glory.

Ok thanks. Running 10.2 but I REALLY miss my dark theme. Had false hopes of this leak giving me the best of both worlds.

I can't think of a method to confirm ON YOUR DEVICE... but if you connect to the BB10/PlayBook App Manager Google Chrome Extension, this will show the updated app versions.

In Settings, About, OS check browser version. If it's 10.1.1.338 then the updated bar files are installed. That's one that you can check if it was upgraded.

Of course as has been mentioned, those BAR files aren't the OS or radio, they're just the apps that were updated.

There are none... obviously with .4828 being the newer build, it probably has more bug fixes over .4780

Love this build. One thing I've noticed is it doesn't seem to reboot automaticly when plugged to a power chord. The hardware boot-buttom seems more sencitive which is nice...
