No, you do NOT need debug tokens. But if your app was signed with a debug token, it's recommended to resign without debug token to avoid any possible errors.

Was using 810. Side loaded the unlocked runtime without deleting currently installed android apps. I don't have any issues with those apps still after a reboot.

Curious why the instruction to delete first and what might I expect if I didn't do that. More of a safety measure to avoid troubleshoot steps later?

UPDATE: Dunkin and Starbucks still -9 errors, so no workie.

I removed my debug token and the apps signed with it still work. Of course, I'd have to install the token if I sideload them particular bar files

One guess would be that it is an android app not optimized for your device and never meant to run on your device. But, again that is just a guess.

I have been wrong one time on my life, this could be the second, but I doubt it.

Super cool! I'm running Viber now on my Z10 after a long night of trying other ways and kept being asked for debug token. Thanks guys! BlackBerry is on the right direction but they have to bring these apps very soon without having to do so many things. It's so easy to just loose interest and get an Android Device or Apple. People need simplicity. They almost lost me but my loyalty kept me. How many customers have they lost though? Keep Moving is the BlackBerry 10 Motto but they have to move pretty fast!

Guys I couldn't help but askung you guys for advice. I just upgraded my stl100-1 to os 10.2.1047. Have tried several nites sideload android apps through Steppschuh sudeloader tools but always failing.

So sorry for asking how do I install (step by step) from a mac? Or is this thing can only be installed from pc. Thank u so much guys, so excited to get my hands into this thing

I can hereby confirm that the same side loaded app (foldersync) when converted using apk2bar and used without debug token in this unlocked android runtime does not work headless and when converted using the debug token method and installed along with the debug token bar it works headless right from the beginning.

Signing via debug method adds some extra code to the apps, this could be the reason.
