just dont uninstall your side loaded apps, only delete the debug token, reboot your device with the new runtime and your installed apps will keep working

How about the android apps from BlackBerry World? They should run better than before.

Am I to understand that Android apps which didn't work in 10.1, would, or may work using this runtime?
no it only works with 10.2 OS

    Thanks for this.

I have to say that all my previous not working android apps are running fine and those ones which were running; now they run even smoother.

    Fantastic!

    Couple of small questions here:

    - Is it better to delete the debug token on my Z10?
    - Is the debug method still better then this method?
    - And with this method you just need to sideload bar files right?

Well that was mighty dumb of you to install if you didn't know what to do.

Btw, that's why the "we're not responsible" bit is there for people like you

If you are in this business than you should know that 10.1 only supports android 2.3.3 runtime, therefore this might brick you android runtime. Only OS 10.2 can support this runtime 4.2.2.

It's really not that hard to tell the difference between debug token or no debug token... in the days of Google people forgot to actually think.

I don't believe you can do that. You have to uninstall and reinstall most recent version of bar file(without token). Then should be good to go.

    >Zedding since the beginning
mine worked like this since 810 runtime over .1047 os, never uninstalled my debug token installed apps, that the only way i kept waze app working

Guys, I have to admit, I am SERIUOSLY impressed, and that doesn't happen easily!!! I have been a major skeptic on the Android runtime from the beginning given the lack of apps that would actually work. 810 was the best so far, but this one takes the cake!!!

I was running 810 (no debug token) with the following apps:

    Teamviewer - working
    Trip Advisor - working
LINE - working (this program seems to run on ANY android runtime, amazing!!)
SCB UP2ME (my local bank program) - not working on any runtime so far
    HideitPro - working
    Viber - working
    Golflogix - sort of working

On 1323 and 1371 (no debug token)

LINE, Tripadvisor and Golflogix (sort of working), SCB UP2ME working

Running on the new super fabulous extra special turbo-loaded runtime - EVERYTHING!!!!! Oh yeah baby!!! Rock it!!!!

And it also the fastest, by far, than any other runtime we've had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was using side loading since playbook os 2.0.

On BlackBerry sometime you need to get latest apk and transfer to bar and sometimes you need to get previous versions of apk in order to meke it work on BB10. For example Pandora v4.4 didn't work however pandora v4.2 works for me flawlessly. So play with Apks a little to see which version is workable.

    I wasn't using a token before. I was on 810 runtime.
Ahh ok then. So all of yours would still work. The main question seems to be would a token made still work after. From what I an seeing, even before your post, the answer was/is no... that's why when you said you still had then going I asked.

Hi guys I need your help.
I am running the latest 10.2 leak on my Z10.
I deleted any Android App on my device and sideloaded the latest Android runtime via the chrome extension, restarted the phone and sideloaded viber and some other apps but some close immediately and some start with the blue Android bar running at the bottom of the app and crush after some soconds. Can please someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you in advance.
Please, read through the pages as I have answered this a few pages back.
