If there was a way to get apps that call up maps to work (even if you have Google's maps loaded they flag in the conversion tools and crash immediately when started) you'd have the 99th percentile....

Just a heads up that the build.prop identifies this as 127.0.0.595 (which is also what the bars are labelled as), and not 127.0.1.6515 (which is what the rar is named).

Anything that depends on services and features that aren't in the Android runtime (namely Google Play and Services) will still fail to work.

Go back a few pages read about blacklisting of apps and the Google maps api being blocked. What doesn't work now mostly doesn't work because BlackBerry intentionally blocked it.

Just went through the post, seems it is almost like running android apps on Android device.

I'm going to wait for new 10.2 leak from you guys which will be for STL 1 as well. And then it is party time.


All I request people trying it out, please do post your favorite android apps screen shots and if possible a video that we can spread and let the world know how much great it is.


Looking at the feedback, don't know what is left to improve in run time .

This may not be the place to post this, but what does the -9 error mean when sideloading an app? Been trying to get an app working for a while but I've always gotten the -9 and then it crashes. Was hoping it would be different with this runtime installed, but nope.

No one said there are NO restrictions. Of course there will be some apps that will not ever work, ie: apps that 'call home' (needing playstore). But for the most part apps work flawless.
