The original post says BlackBerry Protect stays on after reboot... unfortunately with both my Z10 and Q10 that is not the case. With both, BB Protect is turned off after reboot. (I did not restore anything after install so there should be nothing that corrupted it, etc.) That has been the case the last couple of leaks for me - wondering if anyone else has experienced the same?

If u using android runtime unlocked you will get permanent android bar, its down to your preferences

hmmm I am afraid that my media files wont be available on this leak ...
I am thinking that from now on I wont restore and start fresh, but for me looks like even doing at least one security wipe after several leak installs the phone goes like wtf and do not restore data completely ... the first leak+ full restore I did I was like wow then just buuu ... using leaks is great but some times the effort to get phone as I like takes so much time =P

BTW thanks BL team I really appreciate all the hard work =)

I am having a bit of trouble with my contacts doubling up. I do a clean install on every leak. My contacts are synced through Gmail and I use the method of adding email first then contacts/calendar, however I am still having this problem. I delete contacts reboot and add again and they still double up. Any solutions?

Edit: My contacts are not doubled in my gmail
Edit: it seems dark theme was what broke it for me. delete account, change to light theme and reboot then add account again now all is well. Now for the hub freezing

Few bugs have been greatly noticed here.. have had to restart the hub 3 times today, actually made me find a use for that hub icon... as much as I found it useless, when hub freezes you can hit the icon to go back to main hub screen so you can restart it. also, watch your media in how it is organized. Take a pic and it seems to get thrown pretty much anywhere. BBM groups have frozen my hub, contacts don't sync "as well" but that's just a matter or linking manually (back to 10.1 style for me). Android runtime seems much more stable. Where there were some side loads that would take two to three times to start, this os let's it run the first shot. Battery running even cooler than 1725 was for me... life... we will get back to that tomorrow after I get 48 hrs under this bad boy. Alarm seems a bit different too. Took me a min to realize it is a "button" on clock screen to turn on and off instead of just setting it. (kinda nice once you figure that). Camera seems a bit smoother with the face recognition.
All in all, besides hub issues (which is the main buggy for me) not a bad little start for this branch.

Hey thanks for the bars. I only wanted to try the new weather app. I'm still quite happy with .1047 as a core but have added/changed bars which made the old er OS feel and look like new. And I get to keep my squircle for a bit longer too. The new weather app runs perfectly on this .1047 OS so its a keeper.

Really? I really don't understand why not 14xx? Or 17xx?

How is the browser in this leak? Curious as with 1767 it stutters at times and seems slower than previous builds. May see about loading the BAR from this leak to try.

Has anyone actually used an exFAT formatted MicroSDXC card with this build? I see the button to "Download Storage Device Driver" and have clicked it and then selected "OK" but nothing ever happens. I have a Sandisk 64GB Extreme MicroSDXC that will function in the Z10 when formatted FAT32. When I remove the card and reformat it in my PC using SDFormatter it is formatted exFAT. Inserting the card in the Z10 only causes the button to appear to download the driver but I'm never able to read the card. Fortmatting it with the Z10 reverts to FAT32.

Am I missing something?

I also have the contacts in Gmail and I sync them. I've had this issue on previous leaks (and even 10.1 official os). The solution: enter settings-account manager-gmail delete the account, restart the phone and then back to account manager and then re-add the account.

I think exfat is not supported on SD cards yet, the driver for it is missing. Should work with USB hard drives though, on a Z30.
