No Squircle = not worth it.

Sometimes, late at night, I'll dim the lights and put my browser in reader mode, just to see my Squircle.Don't judge me

This is technically a hybrid of sorts, as the autoloader includes the 10.1.0.1768 radio. Wanted to point that out before the questions started up.

Thanks to all of you for your hard work in getting this ready! Awesome work!

One question for you: I'm still using 10.2.0.1047 and it's working just fine for me. If I were to use Darcy's Tools (DBBTool, specifically) to identify all of the files which are different between my .1047 release and this newest leak, could I then use the Sachesi method to just overlay my .1047 file versions w/the ones from this latest leak?

Do you think I'd nuke my Z10 (STL100-4) if I tried it?

    Thanks!

Absolutely love the leaks. But I do not like the pin marks at all. If you are not use to them I recommend passing on this leak.

Did I read it right that I should avoid restoring after the update? I've had absolutely no problems with my Z10 after updating a leak and restoring. If this is the case I don't know that I want to upgrade this time around, the watermark is not that big a deal but I'd like to restore for the apps I have already.
    Cheers

After a little bit of time you don't notice them at all. It's like tunnel vision lol.

The white balance for the display won't be on the z10, it's not amoled. It's included to fix washed out whites.

Don't read too much into it . Most builds under 1000 will show your PIN and there will be lots of things broken or half-baked, because they're not trying to make it all work together atm. Teams implement features at their own pace and some builds contain unfinished code, because when the school bell rings, you run outside to play .

So, it's cool to be able to test new features and to be able to provide feedback to BlackBerry (no silly questions on Twitter though, OK?), but I wouldn't recommend using any of the betas leaks if you value your data. Just wait 4 weeks and build 1051 (yeah, I'm a leak fortuneteller) might suit your needs then.
Having said that. 10.2 is a disaster for people with local contacts (me!), so we all have different preferences.

A lot of the things won't be compatible
Mate, there is a much newer version available, like 1767
Why don't you give that a try, if you aren't comfortable using an OS that is still slightly buggy

Just installed on both my z10 and my Q10 and they both work very well

Let me remind you that my Q10 only has 1GB of RAM

Took about the same amount of time to install on both devices...

    WAIT!!!! FM radio support?
Don't you need hardware for that?

99% of people won't use it, but I would use FM radio on my phone!

Me too! I haven't heard anything from BlackBerry on FM radio support for a long time. I gave up on it!

    @ rehab comment.

Seriously though, there are still the hardcore leakers who seem to install every leak; however, I have noticed other users have become more discriminating. Maybe it is because of the time it takes to setup the phone the way each person likes it (takes me about 4 hours from start to finish), and in other cases it could be that there is not much noticeably differences/functionalities between some of the leaks.

I also recall Kris pointing out once that the latest leak isn't necessarily the newest or even the best. Since then, I too have been discriminating in the leaks I install (which is why I am still on 1725 which is working like a charm).
This is what I've been doing... or also like you, just adding the newer files over a solid base OS. We did that a good amount over 1047 and I'm actually still on 1725 (oddly like you again). I'm happy so far with what I have, but read through all the leak threads, and decide if that one's for me.

I will say this though... the more recent leak threads have a LOT less stupid questions/replies. I'm not sure if this is to stricter moderation (which I'm fine with) or people are better educated (which is probably too good to be true).

Do it up. I loved 1047 and didn't upgrade until 1725 was released... I have the same Z10 model as you (on Verizon). I'm happy so far with 1725... make the jump sir, you will be happy with what you see.
