I understand but I come on here to read reviews and get useful feedback. I just read everything on all forums and this seems to be the topic. Funny how BBOS has so many issues that need fixing and they complain the most about this. Sorry if u felt offended. Just trying to figure if this leak is worth it from 1761

Ok so i loaded this leak onto my device last night and restored all my data from my 10.1 OS. So far so good but i do have a few issues, one is that my contacts cant be changed from light to dark which kinda sucks and neither is my BBM but both texts and calendar show up in dark theme.
Secondly it doesnt play nice with one of my apps, wallpaper changer HD. Keeps popping up with a message that wallpaper has been set.

Other than that its smooth as butter and some really neat features ie priority hub being one. But looks like ill be going back to 10.1 until the official version is out.

Both are known issues already mentioned in this thread. If you restore from backup, it breaks the dark theme. Wallpaper Changer developer is aware of the problem, and according to a quoted posted about 12 before your post, isn't going to fix it until the 10.2 OS code is stabilized.

I'ma sit this one out unless 1761 suddenly exhibits an unacceptable bug. Which is unlikely given how smooth the installation was, and how little settling in seemed required.

Q10. Went from the .1443 build which was rock solid for me but I just had to do it. Did a full restore with Link which I have done several times without issue except the Facebook check in issue.To address the person who was complaining about their contacts losing the dark theme. Give it time. It took about 8 hours to populate the pictures as it synched with Linkedin and Facebook, and during that time, it was the light theme. Not sure why but it's fine now. Other than that, it settled in fairly quickly and is running smooth as silk. I think the radio is a bit stronger with this build but it's too soon to tell. No issues at all on the Q.

reverted to 10.1, still getting the same error when trying to sync contacts, CRADSDatabase error 5211 - there is an error converting Unicode string to or from code page string. guess I'll need to wait for the official release to get my contacts loaded....

I updated successfully (Z10 STL100-1, using loader from the other thread). So far no bugs, except i had to reinstall bVNC free. It took a while to get 5GB recovery on the device but it's working without bugs. First 20min System was using a lot of resources, after that it's working fine. It's been 7 hours with medium usage and I'm on 78% battery right now.

It almost sounds like your contacts database is corrupted. Where are you syncing your contacts from?

Thanks my friend, i did see that someone else also mentioned the issue with wallpaper changer hd and yes i was warned about the dark theme breaking if you restore. Thought as i was restoring from a 10.1 backup, it would be fine but sadly not.

Anyhow currently downgrading back to 10.1 as i keep losing network reception every 5 mins on my phone. And for me thats not good as i use my phone to keep in contact with business clients etc.

Cant wait for the official 10.2 update to come, it looks freaking good so far.
