Posted via CB1010-06-13 02:45 PMLike 0 - Is it possible to reload our blackberry10 with official software after installing the leaks?:/
Posted via CB1010-06-13 02:50 PMLike 0 - Installed a few days ago. Settling in nicely.
I did notice one issue right after installing. I was unable to restore from a back-up. I got a message that backup (and this Restore) had been disabled because of an IT Policy. I had not reactivated my device on the company BES yet, so thought it might be because the last backup was done while it was connected to the BES. So I called the company help desk and had my phone reactivated. Did not help. I've opened a trouble ticket with work but have not heard back from them in 4 days.
I have never had any issues with restoring from backup before. Was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the issue.
I've pretty much rebuilt the setup from scratch now but there are a couple of things I would still like to recover.
Thanks
Should also mention that this is a personal phone on the company's BES so it is not locked down like a company phone would be.

- Real quick update for anyone's who's interested - my Q is purring w/ 1048 radio atop 1761. Thanks much to thurask & usman.
Next weekend, I'm diving into sachesi for android side loading. I know, I'm lightyears behind the rest of u, but like to hear and read all so that move is well planned when I do it. That's why my very first leak OS installed like butta.
Anyway, on a side note, my new Thinkpad X1 Carbon is AMAZING! Dual core i5-3472 @ 2GHz, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD, and integrated Intel HD4000. Screen's crisp, bright than ANY I've seen, period. And despite my long-term loathing of not pro-level graphics systems (any one remember 3DLabs??), this Intel embedded HD4000 has full DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.1, same core speeds, as Nvdio NVS 5200M. A Quadro or FireGL it aint' but mostly b/c it uses shared memory pool. A couple development releases, along w/ dedicate memory will place it squarely in the market competing w/ the big boys. I ran AutoCAD 2014, Sketchup and other 3D apps w/ nary a hiccup - refreshes, regens, and panning/scrolling was amazing. The multi-touch pad allows using 1, 2 or 3 fingers with amazing results.
Sorry for the blurt-out, but TO GET BACK ON TOPIC......my Q is running cooler, with more consistent radio reception, faster conversions btwn WiFi & LTE, which appear to be mutually exclusive. So whenever I log onto local WiFi network, whether in office or at home, LTS drops to 3G. Not an issue until I disconnect WiFi - at this point, the 1762 radio (inc w/ 1761) stayes on 3G for while. The 1048 radio reverts to LTE right away. Is also consistently a bar or two higher on LTE reception that the 1762 radio. And last but certainly not least, battery life is amazing. Period.
May consider 1767 this weekend but seeing as work's picking stupid crazy, that may not happen.
Once again though, thanks to both thurask & usman for the 1048 radio autoloader - noticeable cooler, longer battery life, and stellar signal reception.
May consider 1767, but not much to gain from what I can see. Forgive long post, this is long awaited to let all know where things are.

10-06-13 03:45 PMLike 0 - Quick question. This likely has been dealt with before it elsewhere but I can't find the answer. I'm on 1443. I also use Yahoo Small Business Mail. I am having synching issues with the Yahoo contacts. If I update a contact in the Z10 it will NOT update the online contact. However if I add a new contact in the Z10 it will appear online. So far I don't think there are any issues going from online to the Z10.
Has anyone experienced this or is there a fix or recommended solution?
I realize contacts are a continual issue for the BB10 OS.
Thanks

- Hey guys,
just wanted to shoot a little update regarding the build: I am finding it is not as smooth as previous builds when it comes to moving quick between the menus and such when typing out messages and emails on the go. Also, today it has started to have some weird charging problem. It would start charging, then stop, then i would have to unplug it and then it would start again but stop. Now i had to grab my friends Samsung S4 charger which is identical to ours to get it going but it again stopped charging but started now and its charging normally. I am not sure what the issue here is but i never had an issue with 1425 OS. Is anyone else having these problems?10-06-13 07:29 PMLike 0 - Guy's the official software updates are the best one's. Don't get into the trouble.
Instagram and instamessage working fine, with leaks, but what's the use if the phone is slow?.
My opinion is, just wait till the blackberry provide an update.
Cheers!

Noted several times restore kills check in on fb. And battery life takes a day or two to settle and sometimes you need to reload os second time if you restore to fix the battery issue in have found also

You have to remember it's not a matter if blackberry providing the update, it the carriers to push. Here in the states that is close to non existent. That's why I think there are many more people here now than in the legacy os that I ever saw.
Posted via CB1010-07-13 12:23 AMLike 2 - Mopar_fxr:- when I installed the leaks 10.2.
My BlackBerry pin was written all over the border.
And browser was slow.
And when I installed android app's the andorid bar couldn't be disable which is present at the bottom. Olready Q10 got a small display comparing to Z10, so when the android bar is present. Most of the screen was occupied by unwanted stuffs.
Thank you.

With this leaked os, I have just realized that I cannot send any sms when starting a new conversation. Does anyone experience the same issue?
This is weird!
