And ur opinions? Discoveries? Also, as BlackBerry split dev't path to 10.2.0.xxxx separate fr 10.2.1.xxxx I'm a little wary b/c of possible restore incompatibilities. And since I'm highly (did I mention highly) dependent on my BlackBerry for work, I'm very careful about what I install. To date, I haven't done any sideload or hybrids. Only complete autoloaders....tho I have to admit, Link 1.2 is proving a way more reliable route, and I've never had any issue w Link restores in general, touch wood *tapping one's own forehead*.

I think you should try 10.2.0.1767 I read somewhere it is the gold release for 10.2

Loaded this leak 4 days ago and now my email accounts pop up a couple times a day asking me to re-enter my passwords. Keeps telling me there is no response from the email account or server is not responding. I add the password again and all is well for another 12 hours or so. I rely on a lot of communication from my office through email. Gotta figure this out ASAP. I am using a yahoo email account and an AT&T email account. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have managed to solve my problem! Now, I don't know how this came about in my head but it made a whole lot of sense, and felt like a total *****.

I have purchased Hub++, and the instructions for it to work is that it must be left open in the active frame as there is no headless api implemented in the app or available for public consumption yet. So basically it requests that you switch off alerts, so that Hub++ will be the main control rather than both overriding each other.

So what I should have done was just switch off the alert for tone and led notification, but I switched all alerts off, so it obviously cancelled off instant preview (or toast notification) that we have been accustomed to know it as.

Hope this helps for those who may have encountered similar problems (though it looks like it's only me). But thanks everyone who replied. Learn something today

I have a Z10 on it's way for my wife and I want to install the leak with Dark Themes available. I know this means starting fresh but as for importing contacts rather than hand entering 400 of them what is the easiest way to do this. I have seen BB Protect Mentioned but some have said it loses contacts or settings. Some say use Outlook which I have but will that import a setting that breaks Dark Themes? I have just been restoring on my Z10 and putting up with the broken contacts but I love the theme on Calender and Text so...to give her the best Z10 with 10.2 what is the best recommended option for setting up the new device. Thank for all the leaks and tweaks to all on CB and the BL Team.

I find the 1048 radio much better for this build. It holds up data connection much better. With original radio, my VPN connection always get timed out but this 1048 radio solved it.
Overall, 1767 is butterly smooth

IMO...I personally like having my contacts in the cloud (like gmail) and syncing them. That way they will always be there if I lose the phone or have to install a leak and resync. I normally do not restore from a backup after installing a leak as it limits issues that people experience. I do use BB Balance (BES10), gmail, linkedin, and twitter and never restore...just sync those accounts.

Did you thought that maybe Is a carier problem with the data network? I think that 1047 was quite good, but this is overall leaks soon far, and by that I mean that the settle in period is much smaller the battery temp is so low, and that's why I recommend this build, because is gold edition

Yeah, mine now shows a software version too: 10.2.0.410

Other than that, absolutely no problems with this OS. Snappy, just about 50 hours on battery (light usage but wifi on 100% of time). Google sync works fine, Whatsapp, Skype, etc. Staying with this till the next (near) gold release appears.

Been installing every 10.2 leak on my Q10 since 1047. Not b/c this leak is the smoothest leak so far but the process of installing new leak is really painful.
I have to settle for some point. So I will stay until 10.2 official release.

I suggest you to use the intouch app. Search it in the BlackBerry World. You just need to make an account and backup your contacts using that app. After that, start fresh on your BlackBerry Z10, the download the intouch app again on your new OS. Log in then download backup. This should resolve your problem. I used this app to backup my contacts info.

Not sure if anyone else experience the same issue. I notice in bbm group, some members shown only their PINs instead of their name, some got their names shown. But on bbm contact list they are shown just fine by their names. Maybe should stay with 1761 better.

I also have the same experience with every leak, but I think its restoring issue with bbm server took a while for full restore bbm information

On your home screen, swipe down from the top to Settings>Network Connections>Mobile Hotspot, and make sure Mobile Hotspot is turned OFF. Then simply tap the little "Configure" icon on the bottom middle (the two parallel lines with the dots on 'em), and from the next screen put your cursor in the line that says "Mobile Hotspot Name", erase whatever is there and type in whatever you want to call your Q. Hit "Save", swipe up to minimize, and close out of everything. You've now renamed your device's hotspot.

THIS ONLY WORKS IF HOTSPOT IS OFF. If hotspot is on you can't rename it.
