Not being sarcastic.. your best alternative is to teach yourself token method.
The newer runtime runs a bit smoother and once you do the token it's a cakewalk after that. Renewing is simple, and after os updates you just side load your own converted bars again. Plus... if you are on a q this will be very revalalant... you can hide the bar!
It takes about the same amount of time as reloading the unlocked and you get better performance... you'll thank yourself down the road

I've had that happen on previous versions, but not on this one. Try turning off your device, do a battery pull, wait about 10 minutes then put the battery back in and start the device.

I'm on STL100-1 and experiencing these issues:

1. Shift+Enter don't bring us to a new line in BBM/SMS/WhatsApp.

2. When writing a long note in Evernote app (not through "Remember") the display stays on the first few lines and doesn't bring us automatically down to the actual line we are writing on.

Both problems are very annoying to me :'(

Any solutions or work around will be appreciated. Please help.

Hope i get fix for Contact bug in this build which is also in 1761. I get the contact issue in almost every build.

I hear ppl saying this is a MR, If this is BlackBerry still has not learned that it's the small things that counts... when will they fix this silly bug in contacts where fb, twitter, and LinkedIn automatically turn themselves on after you turn the off....!?
They need to spend time fixing features everyone uses.

Wow! So smooth! I downloaded the OS this afternoon--spent 30 mins installing it, and 4+ hours downloading, sideloading and organizing apps and it is sure worth it!
The posts say it is just some fixes like a MR, but it seems much better than that to me, and I've loaded a lot of these over the years. Some things that have seemed to change that I see are:

• Contacts can in fact change back and forth from dark to light theme and "save" it, unlike on 1761 and below where it wouldn't save the changes.
• Docs to go work!!!
• Radio seems clearer@
• Everything seems faster and absolutely way smoother when you navigate around the screens and apps.
• Edit circle is slower and way more accurate and much easier to use!
• Android apps seem to run better--can't explain what it is, but just seem to not lag and run like apps are supposed to!
• Not sure if its new or not, but I haven't seen this before--when adding an appointment or event on the calendar, there is a drop-down box that allows you to pick the calendar that the event is to go on. So if you sync with Outlook 2007 like I do, and use BBLink, any appointment I add in the field on BBLink calendar as opposed to the "home" calendar or other calendar, syncs perfectly with Outlook 2007 via Link.
• The download seemed way faster as well! I restored only settings and media but if there is a next time ( ) I'll probably restore appdata as well
• Did not wipe and there are no issues!
• Battery seems better, but too early to tell and to be fair, 1761 was very good for me.

I'm sure there is more and I only ran 1761 for 3 days, but I like this one much, much more! I doubt that I'll load another for a while and it will have to have a lot of enhancements. Thanks Berry Leak Team for getting this one out! Much appreciated!

UPDATE : white (light) theme in contacts doesn't save after all. Won't save the change in settings no matter how many times you try! It was light for a while but went back to dark. Bummer for me! Otherwise it's awesome!

Quick update

.2 days in and no Wifi issues, unlike previous 10.2 leaks. Would recommend anyone on earlier leaks who was having problems with Limited wifi etc give this a go.

I have since OS 10.2 this Calender bug:

I go to appointments for next week, don't go back to today but close the app. when I re open the Calender app the appointments from the day when I close the app are mixed up with today's appointments!
Does somebody else noticed this also?

I fixed this bug by sideloding de Calander bar from a 10.1 OS.
