My device is on a BES so I don't need to worry about contact backup. I heard that Contact X or InTouch from BBW are good.

1725 installed and no real issues.

My only question is the toast notifications. When I'm in an app, etc, they always pop up as they should and work perfect. But only very occasionally will I get a message on the lock screen. Less than 10% of the time for sure.

Is there something I'm not aware of that triggers whether a message shows on the lock screen? All of my settings are set to show on lock screen.

I'd say just put your contacts somewhere like Google and then add that acct after you flash a new leak.

Yeah it's cool. Shows on my Q10 Mercedes, Smart Car, Maybach and I have to choose. My 2012 Glk350.'s command system only allows hands free calling but wife's MB system shows streaming, music, etc. Really cool and reads her text msgs.

I agree...I have been using this one for 3 days also and the battery life is outstanding so far. I also have been 100% successful in the restore process using link. My only concern is the contacts...this time I had a lot of duplicates. I haven't figured out what my problem is yet except that I have too many sources coming in; Facebook, Twitter, Link, Gmail, and In Touch Apps. I have over 1100 entries when I actually only have 675 contacts. And In Touch doesn't remove the duplicates like it claims....

I think that may be due to "bblink" account. That's where my duplicates were from.

Anyone else having issues with bbm voice, my contacts can't hear me whenever the calls are connected.

It shouldn't matter when you do the wipe, although I do one before and one after out of habit.

Might be a media card issue. Is it a Class 10 card? Remove your card and reinstall. Maybe that will work. You might need to reformat your card. Save your files to your desktop first. Good luck!

I'm on this leak along with a side load sprinkle of Unlocked Runtime. All my side loaded apps work just as before.

I wonder what Leaky Friday brings...

It's a pain. You have to re-download all the available apps to make them appear under "installed apps." It just takes time--everything will continue to work properly after the apps are downloaded and re-installed. No data will be lost, unless you have Ascendo DataVault, in which case the data from that app will be lost. If you have ADV, use its backup tool to back your data up to an SC card or to the device memory.

Had that problem with Datavault myself in all leaks previously. Strangely though not with this one. All my Datavault info was there after a restore.

In case it helps anybody I'll list the steps I took.
1. Put the Z10 in flight mode I backed up app data and settings using Sanchesi.
2. Installed 1725. No security wipe.
3. Enterprise activation
4. Entered Blackberry ID and reinstalled all my apps including Datavault but (maybe this is the important bit) did not open any of them.
5. Side loaded my Android apps using Chrome and the BB10 app manager add-in, once again did not open any of them.
6. Put the Z10 in flight mode again and used Sanchesi again to restore both settings and app data from the backup made earlier.

After that everything was back to how it was Datavault info was there, texts were there. Everything except my wallpaper, that was back to the default. I'd still recommend that you still backup the Datavault data separately using one of the apps sync options just in case.

Previously I've noted a significant battery drain in my device since the upgrade, which saw the battery being totally depleted within 7 hours:



With the OS starting to settle now, with the same (if not slightly more usage) yesterday, I got 18 hours (and it was not yet totally red).



Again, I'm confident that with time the battery life will improve even more. With the original 10.1 I can get a full 24 hours inbetween charges.

the face focus doesnt support in this version, u will need to sideload 10.2.1 camera bar

It's a class 2. I've removed and reinstalled several times. I'll try a reformat when I get home.

If you can, invest in a Class 10 SanDisk card. The processing speed is so much faster and many people have had problems with the lower quality cards. They just seem to not play nice with such a fast phone.

Check Amazon for some great deals!

Loaded new leak,,everything seems to be running ok so far..however none of my sideloaded andriod apps work.
I even decided to reload the unlocked runtime which I had installed before but no go.
