One of the solutions I saw somewhere is to add Gmail account via Advanced under Add Account setting

Hey guys I'm on t-mobile and I have this loaded. For me I see lil small things here and but the big one for me is I kept getting a text message saying I exceeded my mobile hot spot and I never even set it up and when I turn on desktop mode and go on any Website it takes me to a page say somethi.g about t-mobile mobile hot spot. This only happens when I'm not in Wifi. The only thing that keeps me from going back is all these great new features. Oh and my Wifi calling option that was available on the new t-mobile update doesn't work the app just say error.

People who have email problems setting up accounts. Do this When u go to accounts in settings. Then click on add account. Then THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART! Click on the advanced immediately from there. NOT like some have mentioned from after the password screen. That way doesn't work. Then just click on what type service u want. For ex: choose Gmail if u want Gmail. Then go thru advanced setup by just entering ur preferred display name, user name (which is full email address). Then the next line which is also email address. Then choose which sync interval you want. And done. That us when it will take you to the other screens for accept and password then done. Trust me. We have all tried this on the team and we have all the types of accounts. And this is what worked best. Every other way for some of us didn't work. Only this way. For example: when I first setup mine. I went thru the easy wizard way. And it set up. But come to find out later that the sending of emails was broken. And all the deleting and re adding thru wizard didn't work to fix. Only going thru the advanced right from start does the trick. Good luck.

Radio file versions are usually the OS+1, so you would have to extract it from OS10.2.0.1521 using something like Darcy's Tool. This OS was leaked for the STL100-1 phones; so if you have a - 2 or higher, you would have to confirm the radio is compatible.

Of course, the alternative is for someone with it to post it and make it available.

I replied soon after installing this os version, so I'm going to give an update after using it for a couple of weeks. This was a clean install with no restore from backup, btw, coming from .1371. I've had 2 instances where my Gmail account becomes disconnected. After setting it up again it seems to be fine for a number of days. Also the Contacts are still an issue...no doubling of contacts like in the past, but it will often be slow to open completely, not going to the letter selected for 15 seconds. Annoying when you're in a hurry. I loaded the dark theme (thank you, Kris!) last night and love it. That's it for now. A very zippy os! Loving it and could stay on it for quite awhile, but I know there will be another one soon. Or I hope so.

Device: Z10
Issue: android player sometimes doesn't detect data connection after leaving or disabling wifi
Solution: airplane mode for a few seconds then turn radio back on

Hope it helps others. Seems to be quicker than rebooting or trying to find wifi lol

F/U after one week the OS has settled great, I got 14 hrs of battery life with moderate use, 145 native APPS, 45 sideloads running unlocked android RT. Constant phone calls and emails text + MMS.
If your still considering, go for it!

now this is the STL100-2/3 radio... NOT 1 or 4. There are separate files for those so dont blame me. Also, just cause it worked on mine doesnt mean it will def work on yours.

plus, I almost never restore. I have contacts here, sms backup there... all the rest, play as I go. Plus, I sideload everything else in two shots between cars I am working on once mega gets finished downloading I will punch out for my hour lunch and be done by the time I finish eating

guys, I just opened my device monitor and it shows that my System is using anywhere from 45% to 75%CPU. Right now it is just sitting at my desk plugged in. Is that normal or is that causing my battery to drain so fast? I am not sure what it all means. Could it have something to do with this new "My Car" that I have seen people mentioning as a possible reason for battery drain?

I have been experiencing the same problem on my Q10 and sometimes on my Z10 (same account)

What Email Server software are you using?
I'm using MDaemon 13.5.2
I can't swear to it, but I think it was working better on 10.1.xxxx and the ActiveSync protocol version used was 14.0, but I'm not positive.
Usually mine stops getting new mail overnight when it's in Bedside mode. I've also turned off Priority Hub to try and fix it.
Sometimes I can hit the overflow menu and choose Refresh, sometimes that helps.

I haven't played with the Priority Hub to fix this problem.

I found that "Refresh" seemed to work for the messages waiting to be delivered but didn't restore regular pushing to the device. Doing airplane mode for 5 minutes or so followed by Refresh would get message pushing again for nearly a day!

However, in the last couple of days, I've had to airplane-mode-refresh two to four times a day to keep email coming. And now one of our company's Z devices (running 10.1.0.4633 and using ActiveSync 14.0) has started having this problem too. That phone and mine have had push turned off and are going with 5 minute sync instead.

Two more things I'm going to try: 1. completely wipe out my ActiveSync profile on the server-side and rebuild from scratch including wipe and OS reload of the phone; 2. Install ActiveSync beta update that is suppose to address this issue. We'd do both but the IT Guy and I are curious if option 1 will be sufficient on its own to fix the problem.

Is normal mine did that for almost 5 days on and off, some times I hard rebooted with volume up and down keys, some times with top bottom and reboot icon. But best was to keep it pluged in as much as posible while running like that. When it gets busy turn off data and place screen brightness to minimum to get less battery drain after a several days it settles and be between 3and 15%.
