Most likely this is learned behaviour from what you've previously typed. If it persists I'd be inclined to "clear learnt words" in Settings.

I've tried that a few times.

If you're referring to the black bottom bar in the picture the answer is no.

With 10.1, you can remove it with that icon with the X if I recall.

I've been using 1443 OS for more than a week and although battery performance was so-so at first, I'm now getting 12 hours+ with moderate level use. Also, important to note that many many of the quirks in 1047 have been improved and corrected in 1443. The only thing bugging me since upgrading is that my Z is more finicky when as it connects to my Cell network. Hoping an eventual new release will improve that too. Otherwise, really smotth and enjoy using my Z10 more than ever. Have fun upgrading and be sure to backup your settings, apps and media all separately. And then to perform a progresive restore in the reverse order.

How many threads are you going to ask this in? The answer is still no lol. 10.2 it is permanent... there are even a couple threads specific to this question.

Haven't had time to read through all these pages but have others been experience constant reboots with this leak? I notice it especially if I knock my phone on my desk, it reboots. Or shake it really hard. I had no had this issue until I loaded this OS... but it seems odd to be a software issue.
    Sounds like a loose battery

Do you have a link to those backup-restore instructions? I've only ever used Link to do a full backup.

Issue/Question: ActiveSync emails come in for less than a day before stopping
What action caused the issue? Upgrading to 10.2.
What did you try to resolve the issue? Lots of stuff. See discussion that follows.
    Discussion:
My work email server is running ActiveSync 14.1. I'm pushing everything: mail, calendar, contacts, tasks, memos. This works great for about two days after a fresh OS10.2 install (I've install .1047 twice and .1443 once). Thereafter, at least once a day, my phone quits recieving email and calendar updates (presumably the other stuff isn't updating but I haven't checked). To re-enable sync, I send an email from my work account to my personal account, reply to it, and then volume+/- reboot the phone. That usually keeps it going for another day.
Deleting my work email account and setting it up again usually keeps the sync going for 1-2 days before it dies again.
Same thing if I have the IT guy make ActiveSync forget my phone.

It is getting kind of annoying to have to check against my PlayBook (which has no issues getting mail) or Outlook or Webmail to see if my phone is still pulling messages. Any suggestions?

I now use the Sachesi utility to perform most backups/restores. It can also be used to install bar files and other cool things... suggest you start reading the "Sachesi firmware extractor" post, it's located in the Stickied group of posts. Be patient as be ready for some trial and error.

When I installed this os my about screen in settings menu showed 10.2.0.200 rather than the expected 1433.

1371 displayed properly. Is this normal or did something go wrong?

If you didn't mis-type those version numbers, then yes, something did go very wrong.

If you meant Software Release 10.2.0.210 and OS Version 10.2.0.1443, then it is displaying correctly. And search is your friend - this question has been asked several times in this thread already.

My bad, the os version displayed as 10.2.0.210. I found this odd because previously it displayed as 10.2.0.1371. I expected it to display as 10.2.0.1443.

That is correct, OS version 10.2.0.1443 is included in the 10.2.0.210 OS release package.

    SLT100-2 / 1443

It has been more than a week since I have been running on 1443. The device would normally be ice cold when not in use but as soon as I start typing an email or watsapp it starts burning up? Any ideas on how to prevent this from happening? Are other users experiencing the same issue? I have done a batter pull a few times when it has happened but same thing happened with the battery back in?
