Now I'm going to have to check next time I plug my Z10 in. I thought for sure Guru detects charging on 10.2 and whether the source is wall or USB in addition.
I haven't seen Guru pick it up for several OSes now. Maybe as early as 783. It's been a while, I know that.

My curiosity is piqued, I have to check now, but can't until later.

Also here's the main reason I switched. Guru provides temp and voltage and a few other nice stats; BX has a better averaging algorithm from what I've observed.

Tried it here and no go. Guru didn't have a clue if it was charging or not.

"Meet Your Device" does indicate charging or not.

Here's what I get when I fire Guru up:

    Z10STL100-4/10.2.0.1443

    BerryLeaks Presents: 10.2.0.1443 for STL100-2/3/4 and SQN100-X and SQR100-X-img_00000707.png

If it didn't do that, I'd call it good. But now I have to see for myself the flip side of the coin: does it also indicate charging? No offense meant, just an urge to see if it's some random fluke or not.

I'm willing to bet that your posts this thread have kicked up several sales of the pro version of the app. (FYI people, it is free but there is a paid pro version. And it's worth the 2 bucks).
I saw that post, looked for the app, and then downloaded thinking how cool: a free app!
When I realised it wasn't free, clicked on buy, but it wouldn't tell me how much! Not wanting to be the 2nd person to pay $600 dollars for an app, I deleted it.
Not cool at all. I prefer to be told up front the price of the app. Especially if the free part is something my phone can tell me (battery percentage).

It does a little more than just tell you you're battery percentage. It also has alerts for when battery gets to a specific level i.e. you want to be alerted when it hit 25% instead of 20 also if your phone reaches or falls to a certain temp. Think there were some more I haven't fully gone through all the free features

I should also point out that BX is the only app I've tried that detects charging state on 10.2. I haven't tested many apps though.
Will I need to look at the cord to see if it's plugged in like on Battery Guru? If so I'm all in for BX!

STL100-4 - i've found that on the occasion my Android player crashes (blah blah App has stopped working) - it will work on about the third try or so. It does not reboot my phone, but causes severe battery drain. My system will run about 50% or higher even with all apps closed. Hard reboot does fix it.
Had exact same issue. So I...

    1. Downgraded to 1047
    2. Installed the 1443 overlay BARs from the Hybrid thread
    3. Installed the leaked run time.

I did not restore, and reside loaded my apps. Candy Crush, Words With Friends, and Tweet lanes sideloaded. Plus couple other small apps.

Running this combo for 24 hours now and no sign of the issue at all, and battery has been great. Off charger at 4:20am and at 5:00pm was at 40%. Only plugged it in since I was going to be away from the house for awhile.

    I'm running both.
I'm using 'Battery Watch' (port I think). Free, and seems to give accurate reporting, with graph. Not as pretty as BX or BG, but more (free) info than the free BX.

Battery Watch does, even gives an (somewhat funny/somewhat annoying verbal "charging" announcment, and popup).

Also the only app I've seen that shows what version of Android Runtime you have on your phone. One negative is that it always show 68 degrees F as the temp even when BG shows much higher. It's a bug I think that they haven't addressed. The graph in Battery Guru is much better though IMO.

So I did it. I downloaded and installed the 1443 after reading all threads about installing leaks, 1047, 1323, 1371, 1443, unlocked android RT and everything I found on CB forums. Everything is running smooth, the OS is incredible it is lighting speed, APPS open an close in a blink. All my sideloads are working perfectly, the ones that use to work on 10.1 and the ones that didn't . This is the way BB10 needs to be if BlackBerry wants to reclaim his deserved spot. No issues so far, 24 hrs later my OS is settling great I got today 12 hours off the charger without battery heating or any lagging. Thanks BerryLeaks team for a wonderful work, specially VeniceBB for answering my questions a while ago and giving me the encouragement to finally step up on my BB10 experience.

    Thanks for the report.

That sounds like a strong argument for just upgrading to the 1443 full OS, but with the unlocked Android runtime bar files as well for people running Android apps that require it. My 1047/1048r/1443 overlay with unlocked Android is working very well, too, although maybe not with the same battery life as you report.

It will be interesting to see if there's another major leak within the next week or so. If not, that would probably mean that 1443 (essentially 1445 but with all the apps) will turn out to be the first "gold" version of 10.2, and if that is the case, then it's time to upgrade for sure.

Yes, this is what BlackBerry needed to do, but looking at how things are going with the new iPhone coming out, Samsung going strong, and Microsoft buying Nokia, it may be too little, too late, for BB.

So I just installed this on my z10, but under the system information it's showing my os as being 10.2.210 and I searched the forums and it appeared that q10's were the only phone associated with that os. Just making sure I didn't mess up anything here, the phone seems to be working fine as of now
