Apologies if this had already been mentioned, but I am noticing my GPS indicator (up near the battery) on a lot. Even when no apps are open. Anyone else?

Yep, I noticed it too, I was dealing with the same thing on the 1047 and I think sideloaded Google Maps could cause it. But it's weird that even after I manually killed all Android apps via the Ghost Commander the icon did not disappear. but battery is still amazing onymy Z10, so I guess I won't care about it, maybe it's just a sign that the location services are permitted in settings, it might brighten up when it actually connects to GPS, will try tomorrow.

Today my phone just got very hot out of nowhere and thus lead to this crazy battery drain. What sort of brightness do you work with? I tend to have it at 50% actually.

I keep my screen at a max of 50%. Since moving to 1047 and just adding the 1371 apps, i notice a bit difference in my battery drain, so much better now.

Anyone having problems getting bbm working? I'm on Z10STL100-3/10.2.0.1371 and it is saying that the server is out of service.

Update: ReDownloaded BBM through beta zone and it works.

What browser do you use? Usually works better with Chrome.

Had similar issues earlier. They all stopped when I decided to use Chrome. :-). Will download later....

OK Mr. 85 posts who doesn't know numb from num. Reporting bugs isn't whining or crying. While user error happens, often, and it is frustrating that sooooo many don't read or utilize the search function, most of what is being reported has nothing to do with user error or failure to follow directions. Those of us who have been around for more than a few weeks, or are not totally ignorant, know that there are slight variations even in the same model of hardware, let alone antennae programming and software variations and cross reliances. Hence you see some users experience issues that others don't.

Glad everything is working for you. I sure the good folks who regularly visit the forums will be more than inclined to assist you when in the future you experience an issue. Though I have a sense you may live in some type of bliss.

You have no idea how long I have been around, that's just my latest Avatar, second, why don't you chill home box, had no idea you were the CB police! And if you will focus for a moment and read a majority of the post you would see what I'm talking about

Issue/Question: Carrier blocking tethering capability - would like to workaround but bar and escreen method not working
What action caused the issue? Trying out this great new leak ;-) and trying to tether to my laptop
What did you try to resolve the issue? ie reboot, load escreen bar that was available in the forums albeit for 10.1, attempt to log into eScreens failed.

No rush, but would like to get this feature back on as I have unlimited data.

I loaded this as my first non carrier OS this morning.

Haven't done any rigorous testing just a days heavy usage which included reinstalling all my apps.

I haven't put back any side load apps yet but I'll get to that when I get in.

Initial impressions are a much snappier feel to the OS. I like the home screen notifications.

Battery life and such reports will be tomorrow.

Excited BB10 owner here!

Try deleting and download again.
