I noticed that my computer name showed up as a generic "Desktop" in the BlackBerry Link options on my phone. I opened Link on my desktop and refreshed the devices list and it changed to show my device now saying "Device software 10.1 or higher is required for remote file access."

After installing, it appears that this build's radio does not support Wi-Fi calling on T-Mobile. Likely that restoring the 810 radio would re-enable it, but also cause the "general problems" cosmetic error when sending texts.

    Thanks again.
I installed the 810 radio and WiFi calling works. However, the WiFi icon is up the top from boot, there is no icon for an app but once you turn on WiFi it makes calls. You get a notification in the hub stating that there is WiFi calling and the LED flashes.

Did you update to the newest BlackBerry Link v1.1.1.41 published a couple of days ago "version 1.1.0.37"?

Link has a tendency to act strange after loading a new os and you may have to start fresh with uninstalling/reinstalling link and possibly deleting all blackberry/rim device drivers on computer as well before reinstalling

I've been interested in buying a seedbox for the copious amounts of torrenting I do. I'll be more than happy to host the OS' if and when i do buy one.

Meanwhile can I ask you a question? On the current 10.1 OS there's a tendency of the "Other Data" dumping bug. Does newer 10.2 leaked builds provide anything positive as the workaround? I'm still running the 10.1 MR and I've been eaten almost 500 MB just by this "Other Data" dumping bug..

I have not had the issue on any 10.2. I believe it had something to do with the 2.3 android runtime.

I read somewhere here earlier that with the 810 radio on this build calls wouldn't work? Did you try this and do calls work? (WIFI and mobile) ...Does the phone ring and make/receive calls in either mode? --Trying not to go through the process and then have to revert.

Based on the leaked images of the Z30 there will be changes. I personally don't care at all but I definitely hear what you are saying. It would be nice.
