Hey Moodyk13--NP and Thanks! I know what the "read so much I forgot" is all abount! After all these years on the forums what little bit of brain power I still have is completely saturated with BB facts and forum advice! LOL. Still I can't believe that no-one on this thread in particular, hasn't run across this issue if they use their BB phones with this OS (1323)/runtime? Unless its something to do with Mercedes Benz, but I highly doubt that as it must pick up the/any car coding once the pairing is done? All I want to do is disable it from poppin up ever time I turn my car on while my phone is with me-lol. Hopefully someone will pic up on it. I'm posting it one more time with hopeful expectations? Kris/Mecca/Adam-anyone ever see this and know how to disable it?? Thanks everyone!

UPDATE: Finally after posting this, I did find a small but somewhat informative thread on this subject, and apparently you have to "set your car" on your device via the settings>bluetooth>hold down side menu to "set my car", and it works with your car while interacting with it via bluetooth. So if anyone wants info on it, go to:

Update#2: Well after turning on my car/bluetooth the only thing my lock screen says is: " Hands-Free Calling" Under the Mercedes Benz logo and name. So I guess my little $52,000 2012 GLK 350 isn't high tech enough to do what most other cars seem to have the ability to do--like streaming music and playing music from your phone--which I don't use anyway-LOL-- so I'm not sure what good it is to have the this function set up. It worked fine before I got this message and hasn't changed_lol

Wow. That is horrible. Do you have any sideloaded apps installed? Mine has been off the charger for almost 8 hrs with moderate use and I'm at 70% remaining.

Does anyone know if there is a way to set the length of time a toast will stay up? If I miss the alert or don't check quickly, the toast goes away. I would like it to stay up until I dismiss it.

Hey man, I'm the "guy" who posted above you except I'm a girl. And for now, I'm sticking with 1323. Just wanted to know if anyone has seen the symptoms with text messages in the hub.

Not exactly sure if it existed, but I often find some lag/unresponsive behaviour when using the "Delete Prior" option in the hub. I noticed this on 1047 and 1323... If it's something else then I have no idea

I don't think it's the same. It seems to happen after I go for a long run using endomondo. After my runs, I always have issues with texts in the hub. Really weird. On my shorter runs, I don't see the same behavior. I can't explain it.

This little issue popped up today...
There's a bug somewhere in the camera software. The images saved are blurrier than you first think.
This is the photo file pulled from my Q5:

This is the preview you get from dragging the last picture thumbnail to fill the screen in the camera app:

It's clearly much crisper and in focus. Here is how it looks in the photo viewer app:


Something went wrong between capturing and saving. Camera settings: back facing camera, "normal" shooting mode, time shift mode off.

How do I sideload the address book/contacts to fix the issue noted in the thread?

Issue: Quick Access bar in contacts is broken.(Z10 only)
Solution: Sideload 1157 version of sys.pim.contacts.bar
Where would I get that from and how would I sideload it? any instructions or location?

Found the link to download the sys.pim.contacts.bar on page 2, was looking on page 3 but couldnt find it there.

What did you try to resolve the issue? ie reboot, reload OS, change settings etc

Keyboard light stop working after installing the the 10.2 OS, I have tried to find an option over the phone, but don't see anything, I thinking to downgrade to prior version, anything I can try to try to solve this?

hi there my blackberry q5 is buggered really lol, I left it on my draw last night, its fell off and now it wont turn back on at all it just keeps flashing red then stopping the screen has slight cracking to it now, but the impact cudnt have killed the phone any ideas on it, answers will be greatly appreciated

If you're looking for one, don't make it this one. I don't have a DAC to test, but I've heard that 10.2.0.1791 works on DAC. With that in mind, I suggest 10.2.0.1809.

You should be able to load the old OS if anything goes wrong with the new OS.

I have downloaded the leak 10.2.0.1809 which you have suggested me. I'm going to install it on my DAC. Can you tell me where can I find instructions on how to install, I haven't done it before.

Also, a little question, my device is stuck at "Thank you for participation, BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha program has ended." screen. I can't get through that screen. I have restarted it multiple times, but no luck. Can I still continue with installation of the new leaked OS?
