i dl the .1047 leak and installed it and it has been fine, the only thing is i never took my sim card out of phone before installing, am i meant to do this? i want to get this new leak but never thought to ask before now lol.

Please help. My z10 is blinking red once then three times. I cannot turn on now. USB device not recognized anymore. I tried holding down volume keys and will not restart. I took at battery and put back in , same problem. PlEaSe help

i had this happen when my phone fell off my lap while it was writing the o/s. i ended up pulling the battery, running link and plugging the phone in with no battery in it....let the usb power it.

thankfully this worked and while link wouldn't actually connect to the phone properly, i was able to run the loader file and get the o/s loaded to the phone again.

that saved me from having to send my phone in for repair thankfully.

when i done the 1047 install, i backed up on bblink before i installed the leak, but didn't do a security wipe and just restored from last backup, am i supposed to do a security wipe? my z10 seems fine without it.

It doesn't really matter, some say do it that way it deletes any left over files that could have been left over, I never do and I don't have issues

If you didn't have any issues then your good, if something does come up then just do a wipe and restore and hopefully that would clear everything up

That might have been me that you read. Back on legacy leaving in an AT&T SIM during an update was bad news, tethering was a total no go and all sorts of bloatware. As old habits die hard I remove my sim and sd every time. It makes me feel safe. But Habs is right it's unnecessary.

"Task manager" bar: weird thing, I updated last night after sec wipe, no restore. Added my accounts, tweaked a few settings, and put it in bedside mode. Woke up, dismissed my alarm, and went to work. The next time I checked my lock screen at work, there was a small bar in the lower left of the lock screen that had three colored lines, with what looked like a cpu usage graph on it. If I touched on the bar, the graph would go "realtime." and show a dynamic graph, looked just like cpu graph in task manager on windows. Tried to take a pic but couldn't. I reset the device and it was gone. Very weird. I think I somehow accessed a hidden dev gem that showed some kind of activity graph? Can't repeat it, hasn't happened since. Anyway wanted to report it, and that I am also seeing bad battery life but only first day. Thanks. Tldr lol

Didn't see anyone mention it but in text messages you now have the ability to start a new line without pressing shift send. Now send key is in top right of screen, and enter key is same as in email.

To take a screencap of the lock screen, play something with the music app and then screencap the lock screen.

Is it a little box in the corner of the screen? In that case, move your finger over the battery icon in the top bar until it goes away.

Yes it was in the lower left at bottom, small rectangular box with 3-4 horizontal lines, but a graph was superimposed over the horizontal lines. And if I long pressed the lines, the graph lines would begin to update, just like an ECG. It only took up less than 1/3 of the bottom left space on screen. It looked like it was trying to auto update bit only would when I highlighted it. Will try the battery icon thing if I ever see it again.
