you only need the one OS autoloader + the radio autoloader. Flash the Q10 version of the OS, then flash the radio. Boot up, do a wipe, then restore your data. That's all I did..

Please upload the other files so everyone can enjoy i know some people can be rude but most people on crackberry are nice and don't deserve to suffer! Anyhow thanks again I'll report my fidnings

Hi,

Just download the APK directly on the phone via the phone browser and then from the File Manager select the file to get the Install Option on the right.
Thats it.

okay. im screwed, i run the autoloader and everything was just fine until the mad red light started blinking on my device. tried loading the os a couple of times but no use. so any tips from you gurus?
the loading goes on nice and steady till 100 and then a message comes real quick saying failed to load something and vanishes. please help . please please please

You don't need separate radio. It's a full OS, just download and load it.

If you want an android app store that works. install 1mobie market and you can download free apps. It looks like they started adding paid apps too. The only issue is games that require Obb files you still have to get them from somewhere since 1mobile market only downloads the apk not the data.

These are the steps I took to install.

1: Turned off device
2: Made sure that link was closed and device attached to PC
3: Ran the autoloader (device was not on yet, so it stayed at the "connecting to bootrom" message)
4: Turned on device, and then entered my password


This is what happened during setup / initialisation

red indicator led light flashed like I had a message in the first stages (during install).
I did not sign on to BBID (as suggested)
red indicator light stopped flashing shortly
Software update was over in the usual time scale.
Setup went well and completed in less than 10 minutes.

I am doing the security wipe now and will post pictures once completed and signed back into BBID.

Done man!! thanks....tried without the sim card inserted and it worked

1mobile looks good, primarily from the standpoint of impressing guys with BB10's potential. Is there a central source for Obb files? I'm more interested in Subway Surfers, right now I have it sideloaded on 10.2.0.1791 (Z10) but the facebook connectivity is problematic, it shows my facebook pic and settings show the button for 'sign out of facebook'. But it doesn't show any friends and still asks me to login to get 5000 coins.

Android mob and apk mania have a good selection of games with obb files. I know the issue with subway surfers I can check and see if its resolved with a direct install

Reboot the phone and then turn it on from the settings menu first and not from the Quick Settings Menu.
