its crazy how stl100-2,3 and 4 have gotten all the love with a lot of the leaks and now with the leak everyone has been waiting for there is no version of it for stl100-2,3, and 4. I am happy for all you stl100-1 owner fyou finally have a leak to make stl100-2,3, and 4 owners jealous.

pull the battery out, open link and connect your BBRY to your computer via usb. link should notice it and ask you to install or to check for the lastest OS from your carrier.

Just tried installing Google Play Services and Hangouts. GPS opens fine, but has no more settings to tweak, Hangouts opens fine, but keeps asking for GPS.
They do not force close, so that is something, but you can not log in either.

Reflash the os then SKIP. BlackBerry ID login!

Or JUST SKIP IT FROM THE BEGINNING

reboot the device/reload the software (only take minutes) and do not connect to wifi, swipe to the left as quick as you can to get through the options - do not logonto bbid etc.

do these after the initial setup

Does your device turn on?

My red light flashed also during install, but then went away.
