I installed the newest beta on the Z30 and it's amazing. I am wondering if the android runtime sees the network the same way as any phone would. (if that makes scsense).

I tryout the fibreop remote app and it doesn't see the receiver to pair.

Any ideas? It works with the Ipad and S3 I gave here.

    Thanks

A quick background as to how the FibreOp app works...

The app scans the local network via a network discovery protocol that's natively supported on Android and Apple products. This protocol isn't fully implemented in the Android runtime on BlackBerry, so when the app scans the network for the receivers, it fails.

You'll run into the same issue with Bell Fibe and AT&T U-verse as they all run the same Microsoft Mediaroom software.

Thanks for the clarification. I figured it was something like that.
