Funny thing is I got home and started the update (on wifi) then it stopped because I forgot to turn data off. :s. Hopefully I won't have to worry about that in the future.

It's the same thing than on the previous 10.2.1, BlackBerry didn't change the change log.

The Bluetooth was something regarding a new protocol, don't remember how it's called. It gives better sound quality

The change log is old and reused, it's mostly just battery fixes.

A Z30 with poor battery life? Unusual. If my battery life gets any better I'll be able to throw away the charger! Charge it once and I?m good forever.

2977 is the Software Release while 3247 is the OS Version.

I still don't understand how the update process works. My understanding based on past posts is that updates are based on carrier SIM card. However, that doesn't seem to be the case with me. I have a Verizon Z30 that I'm using on the Bell network. So I have a Bell SIM card and I haven't been able to update.

My z10 was a Bell phone and was at 10.2.1.3157. When I got the Z30, I tried to restore the z10 backup, but it had an older OS version so it rejected it. I tried to search for an OS update through Settings and BB Link, but it wouldn't find it (even though it clearly exists on Bell). So now with this new release, my Z30 does not locate the update. It says I have the latest version.

Any idea why this happens?

I think it's because the verizon Z30 is a CDMA phone. Even if you're using a Bell SIM in Canada , it's still locked to Verizon so you'll need to connect to verizon and hope they pushed the update.
