    PalmOS and later webOS

most good things coming up as new where there already...

but also the apps on PalmOS had features where nothing even comes close - e.g. Agendus!

In terms of being a superb PHONE and PDA, yes the BBOS, especially by 7.1, is pretty hard to beat, even today. But... those old blackberry phones were pretty bad about multimedia and graphics heavy stuff or even camera stuff. Android and IOS excel at those functions, and that's what people want today, anyways.

Me, personally, I like small phones, so I don't mind double-carrying two small phones. One is usually a Blackberry (9300 currently, it's all plastic and seemingly impervious to light damage of any sorts), and the other is something better suited for browsing or quick web data searches and multmedia! I think I'll try an iphone 4 - it's small, and the battery is swappable. YES! Swappable. Not quickly, but it can be done at home in 10 minutes. No heat guns needed, no crazy adhesives to overcome.

BBos has nothing I like that Android and BB10 doesnt. Aside from that mode where your device hoes into stand by and automatically turns on at a set time. That was neat.

I am going to join you on this one. I had three Palm OS devices starting with the first Palm and ending with my Sony Clie. I really like my Palm devices.

It does not matter. Neither of your points matter. It is a world of app and camera performance. People use smartphone not for work but for daily life. I love my Passport, which is why I keep three of them. But in some ways, Priv and Keyone are better, and you simply cannot deny it.
