After updating OS BBM stopped working. I can't send or receive messages (keep getting the red clock). Any ideas?

    Strange.
I would try going to the beta zone and signing up for the BBM beta, when it loads it may fix your issie.

You opened the BBM icon first right? And then it successfully went through "setting up BBM". Or did it not?

Yeah, but what about restoring your contacts/calendar?
Once you restore, BBM is broken again.
We need a good fix here.

I'm having the same issue, I used the auto loader to install the 1055 leak. BBM opens, however I get the red clock when I send a message...I'm not sure if it is received either.

Have you tried opening bbm before restoring if you restored from a backup. I know it's a different issue but when I had issues with email and accounts not opening, reinstalling the os, then configuring accounts first then restoring seemed to fix the issue. Could be worth a shot??

Any idea how I can try deleting Bbm and reinstalling it? If I look at Bbm in BlackBerry World it says not available for this device after installing the new os leak.

Restoring settings after installing the leak caused the issue for me. Lost the NOC connection and thus BBM would not work.

Anyone having BBM issues check to see that you have those four "BlackBerry dots" on the top of your screen. If not BBM ain't happening. And chances are you restored after installing the leak.
