I purchased the Z10 on the day of it's release and I love the phone but I want to get the Q10 as i think it would suit my daytime needs a little better with the physical keyboard, yet I'd love to keep the z10 for personal use and just switch the SIM cards back and forth depending on my mood or my needs that day.

What i'd like to know is this, will my BBM transfer to devices back and forth. ie. will my friends have to have two bbm entries for me or will BBM's just go to whatever blackberry is turned on at any given time. Is there a way, like with iMessages on the iphone, to have multiple devices synced to the same BBM?

No, one BlackBerry ID works on one phone in case of BBM. You can trigger the switch anytime on the inactive device. To run BBM on both devices at the same time, need two BlackBerry IDs.

I don't need them both on at the same time. I just want to be able to switch back and forth. Will my friends need 2 entries for me in BBM or will my BBerry ID go back and forth depending on which one i'm using that particular day?

No, it will be seamless to your friends. There was a limit to how many times in a year you could switch though. Don't know if it is still in effect, but you may want to look into it before you make a plan to switch on a daily basis.
