Seems impossible from the list. If I push and hold the contact name in my list of contacts in the Contacts app, the options on the right are email, call or text that person. Not to BBM them. You'd think since BBM is BB's "key messaging feature" that would be an option...?

And yes, this person is linked to their BBM in the Contact card.

Hi Benjamin, I just tried it from the contacts app and it works for me. It may have been included in an update. I don't use leaks.

I think it has something to do with the Q10 and amount of vertical space. When I push and hold a Contact for whom I do NOT have a lot of information (as in, if I ONLY have them in BBM), it appears. When it's a Contact for which I have lots of info (mobile, email, etc.) it deprioritizes BBM, such that the only options are Call, Email, Text, Invite to Meeting and Select More. When I click on the Overflow, there is room and the BBM options com up.

Wish BBM was higher on the default priority list.

That makes sense. As you can see, I'm using a Z with a bit more space. When I press the overflow, I get more options like BBM voice and BBM video.

On the Q10 it's not visible until you open the full overflow menu.

Yup, the initial long-hold brings up a quick access menu. For all options, tap the three bars at the top or the three dots above the trash can.
