    Is there a way to backup the chats in bbm before loading a leaked OS so that they are there after a restore? I was just wondering if this was possible.

    Unfortunately, I don't believe this was ever a choice...even in legacy devices. Whenever I upgrade I lose all my currently opened chats and cannot get them to remain open while I wipe and reload.
