    Hey guys,

am I the only one who has problems using Link on Mac? Im trying to sync my Z10 with Link but my Z10 wont hold connection with my Mac when BBLink is open. It always drops the connection. Im not able to sync or backup my Z10 over USB.ackup wont work anyway. Syncing works OTA, but after a while connection also drops and it needs to reconnect. Sometimes its reconnecting on its own. SOmetimes i have to switch off wifi on the phone or restart BBLink. Its kind of annoying. Does anybody experience the same?

    Hi,

I have got exactly the same problems with a Z10 and a Mac. Your screenshots could have been made on my Mac.

    Cheers,
    Michael

I've got the same. Although a wired connection is more reliable for me than OTA

I have problems too. It always says preparing to back up but it never actually goes through with it.

Same here. But it still needs some work. I can see thumbnails, but not open them on my Mac via Link.

don't know why Blackberry seem to make Mac version of their desktop software lag behind their Windows counterpart.

if everyone is having any problems with the link working, id suggest uninstalling and fix your permissions. restart, then install again and fix your permissions.

i had to do this many times on my mac pro just to get it working, but now its working perfectly. annoying as ****, but it finally worked after much persistence.

Hopefully this update corrects anymore problems but if you still have trouble, it's an easy fix. Another member posted this a while back and I've only had to do it once to fix my Mac problems.

Do a hard reboot of your phone by holding Vol Up and Down at the same time for about 10 secs...it doesn't erase anything or do any harm, just refreshes everything on the phone. You don't have to uninstall anything on your Mac or anything else. Mine's been fine ever since.
