My daughter has had a Q10 for years. Only recently did she decide to enable BB Protect. In doing so, it required a confirmation of the BBID, so we clicked for it to sent an email, but no email has been received. We logged on in the BB website without a problem where it asks again to confirm ID by sending an email, so we once again clicked the link. No email has been received on the phone, on the provider website and not in the spam or junk folders. Any solutions to this?

Try not to open the link via BlackBerry email, instead open up your email using web browser and click the link from it.
