I'm planning to go back to 10.2. it was flawless! I can by another Blackberry to use Blend or other features but Z30 is known by 10.2

You can't downgrade from 10.3.1, unfortunately.

Blend for tablets, both Android and iOS, is currently broken, so don't bother downgrading unless you are planning to use Blend on the desktop.

Z30 STA100-5 wi-fi is fine, as you've acknowledged.

I know BB10 is based on QNX kernel and Android is written by Google. I mean they wrote the entire Blackberry features on top of 2 new platform, but they don't tend to debug either.

You've got three options:

1) Hope that future updates improves the radios

2) switch to Android or IOS

3) purchase an amplified antenna for your router as seen in the image in an attempt to further the range of your router (that's if your router supports it and doesn't have a built in antenna)

If you're on T-Mobile USA, then the app is called Wi-Fi Calling for selecting between Wi-Fi Preferred, Wi-Fi Only and Cell Preferred. The app is only available via BlackBerry World for Z10 and Q10, the two BB10 T-Mobile USA carried. For other BB10 devices, you would need to sideload the app.

Thanks for the info. That is completely unacceptable and poor on their behalf. This started happening after the last update that also broke the Android Runtime. How is it that they do this and dont expect to support or fix the issues! I should not have to find or sideload an app that isnt available to fix something they broke in the last update! This company is completely incompetent and it is a wonder how they are still standing. Cant see them making stride in IOT and security with such incompetence and no accountability.

When you say "broke Android Runtime", are you meaning the bug where you can't full delete Android apps, but Android apps still run? That's been fixed.

Sounds like BlackBerry isn't working for you anymore and it's time to move on, mainly because if you want to keep your BlackBerry, you need to frequent here more to find out about bug fixes and see what customers have been asking for, even with no guarantee of support.

Should not of been installed. I understand its carrier related but the relationship just plain sucks. I would be happy to sideload it and turn it off...anyone have the file?

Yea it is starting to look that way. Its becoming more and more unstable and a burden for me. Although I am willing to try a full wipe and start from scratch prior to biting the bullet and moving on.

Yes. 10.3 really killed the sound Q10 had and wifi strength of all BlackBerry. Last day I compared my PP with priv and priv got more signal than my PP. 10.3 really was a performance killer

My iPad air gets a signal out at the end of my driveway by the mailbox. I ended up having to buy a WiFi extender just to get a solid signal when I'm in my bedroom or the signal would randomly drop. No other device I have out of many (iphone, iPad, game console, laptop, surface pro 4) have any issues at all.

Hope they fix this issue in 10.3.3

Is it a software issue or a hardware issue?

• if its hardware you are sol.

Does this issue stack rank high enough compared to the thousands of open bugs to be fixed before eol?

• if no then you are sol.

Do they have the resources to fix and test this bug for this relase?

• if no then you are sol

Is this bug deferrable and holding up the release?

• if yes you are sol

I preferred 10.2.xxxx over 10.3.2. Signal strength was better as was the notification volume.
