    I'm asking because the tether app keeps not working from time to time and when I have to use the wifi hotspot on my 9850 all BBM and emails stop working until I stop the wifi hotspot.

    Is the behavior the same in BB10 or do those continue to function?

    Great. Good to know. If it was the same behavior as legacy it would definitely be deal breaker for me to even consider upgrading to BB10.
