Since 2009 human start to use apps, no matter how advance the phone is today, we just use that few basic apps. No point to pay so much just for apps

Interesting considering the flack BBM caught on CB when they introduced stickers. But I guess now that Apple is going all in on stickers they're cool.
That's because BB users were still deluding themselves into believing that BBM users were "professionals" who needed "tools not toys" so they could "be productive." Apple has no such albatross to bear.

The other problem was that BBM had been in decline for years already when stickers came out, and people wanted OTHER features added to BBM instead.

Not sure it's very relevant anymore, since BB has licensed out BBM (except Enterprise/Protected) and really isn't involved with it anymore.

Hi all, have a question, i'm french and like you know, WhatsApp goes to stop working on BB10, but, the message by the app at each opening say "this app will be not compatible with this phone at 30 june, take a new one works with WhatsApp"
If WhatsApp will be remove from BBW (and still working) or it will be locked like FB Messenger or both ?
    thanks.

thanks for your answer, i've already looking for about other apps and ways, i have tryed the Android apk but can't send pictures or videos, only messaging and video calls.
Maybe this version will be fixed, or an old version (apk) works totally ?

Especially if you care about security at all. People are even starting to figure out that SMS is not secure as a second factor.

Depending on what you mean by secure. You give me a complete enough definition of security and I can probably tell you if BBM meets it.

Too much drama! I'll wait until it stops working definetely, then will install the android version! Al least, video call works!.
Why are you all worried about how many years will be whatsapp supporting version 4.3? Do you all think battery life will last longer on your BB10 devices?
I see my passport battery life decreasing, I'm not using it all the time and drains a lot in just few hours so...
