This is a leak but is something that happens even on official software. In this picture I turned off the mobile network and only had wifi running.

Okay, so in 5 hours your battery dropped 25%(estimate)...that computes to 20 hours per charge(estimate) ...not bad at all...what's the problem?
What apps are running in the background? How many android apps are downloaded?
Crackberry Genius on Verizon STL100-4 10.3.0.296/442
He lost 25% not doing anything though. That's why his screen barely used any battery

Exactly. Idk why but needs optimization

Yeah its really weird. I wonder if BlackBerry is aware of this. It's why I'm afraid to leave my phone off the charger at night. I've woken up before and had lost over 40% from where it was before I went to sleep.

What apps are running? What frameless apps are running? What happens if also wifi is off? What other action and user interaction happened? Just "Idk" is not much to discuss here.
That is funny, complaints, complaints.
First advice I have seen was: switch diagnostics off, so there is a question: how BlackBerry should improve their system if none of their phone users sending them data they need???

Of course I agree diagnostic programme is a battery hog as well, but there is a way to improve it for BlackBerry as well. Collect data but send them only when on charger.

No if BlackBerry wants to do something they can hand phones to testers and see how the battery life of the OS actually is.
I do realize the battery of the z10 is bigger than that of iPhones and the way bb10 handles app multitasking makes it average similar. But the one thing I missed about ios was the fact that when the phone and battery was good, standby really lasted.
My bb, definitely the os needs optimization.
I do have a theory though : since android apps are notable battery hogs, what if the never stopping runtime is to blame for the system using up battery

What is this thread about? Did you just want to say, the battery needs optimization? Didn't anyone else say this already?
Not the battery. OS needs optimization. Battery technology has been stuck for a while
