OK, another little niggle I have. Hopefully other have noticed this. Maybe there's a fix? When I restart a device (classic and passport), the sound level is nice and loud. Sounds great. But after the device has run a bit, the sound level drops and is not as loud as it was when first rebooted. Am I the only one this happens to on two devices? If not, is there a fix? Running 10.3.2.556. Tried 2339 and 400. They seem to exhibit the same issue. Am I imagining it?

are you talking about notification levels or just playing audio from the devices in general?

FYI the notification sound and the media sound are two different things!

If you're referring to sound playback levels on speakers and headphones then one trick you could do is put both to 100% then do a clean install ( Sachesi autoloader or other) then the OS that you're loading in will use that as a baseline for indexing and you will notice a difference, I gained about 15-20db when I did mine!

I am talking about the notification sounds. Rarely use media sounds without bluetooth or headphones. Those work fine. It's just the notification sounds that seem to fade after the device has been up for a while.

Just to post a followup. If I do NOT use bluetooth for music, the sound stays loud as it does when I restart. But as soon as I use bluetooth and connect to my car to play music, the sound volume drops considerably until I do another restart. It's been days since I used bluetooth in my car and the sound is nice and loud. I do want to be able to use this for music in the car without losing volume in notifications though. It's been like this for me through 4 phones and many os re installs. Rarely update. Always autoload or download from BB website. It's an issue I've fought for a long time.
