    Can't really argue that point. Unless MediaTek being a Taiwanese company had something to do with it.

    Why not use Mediatek processors then? I am sure there would have cost my less. Clearly, Blackberry had already made up their minds.

    Blackberry made up their mind a long time ago. They left the hardware business.

    The theory that drivers cost $5 billion dollars per device was a ruse started by Chen to explain why he could not sell a paper bag at a grocery store all out of bags.

    Like the others I need a citation. I never heard a number. What Chen said was that Qualcomm would no longer develop drivers for BB10. Probably because BlackBerry could not guarantee to by the minimum number of chips.
