Just thinking out loud here if you guys think blackberry should think about entering the smartwatch market with a secure twist

i understand that bb wants to consolidate its businesses now, but smartwatch is likely the next big thing...

I really don't think the market needs another smart watch vendor at this point. It's almost saturated.

I would like to see BlackBerry team up with someone like Pebble instead and get it working well on their devices.

BlackBerry should definitely try to enter an official arrangement with one or more smart watch companies so as to allow full functionality with the devices. Unfortunately many wearables can not be used to their full extent at the moment. For example I can not read BBM or Whatsapp messages on my Pebble paired with my Z30 however I can read these messages from my Pebble when paired to my Sony Z3. Not good enough really.

Thats a great point. Pebbles 'OS' is a bit outdated, albeit very different and useful from the competitors. I think both sides would benefit well
