    One of my best friends is shopping for a new phone to replace his iPhone 4. He wants no more iPhones and finds Android messy and he is very tempted to get a WP with the new HTC One (I didn't know it'll be coming out also with WP...) - "to get it all streamlined between my pc and phone"

    I'm not using Outlook mail with my Q1O so wanted to check with users here about the integration, contacts etc. I know from other threads that Outlook notes don't sync with BB10.

    Modern devices sync with your email server not your mail client on the desktop. If your friend is using antiquated POP email he's out of luck on Sync. If he's connecting to an Exchange server or Gmail he can use ActiveSync or IMAP. All contacts, Calendars Mail and Tasks are then synced.

    I concur.
    Outlook and hotmail accounts (active sync) are more advanced compared to imap. Everything syncs well and you can search emails on remote server too.

    Don't forget, with the Onedrive app integration with the BB10 file system its easy to move files back and forth between a desktop with Onedrive access and Blackberry.

    I have a Gmail Business account and an Outlook account.

    Outlook is superior for both speed and syncing when compared to Gmail and works great on my Z30.
