Just got this 07 November 2014:
Upgrade your BlackBerry 10 OS to the latest 10.2.1 OS today.

Updating is easy and free, allowing you to be more productive and more in control - more ways to prioritise, organise and customise the BlackBerry Priority Hub, more ways to monitor battery usage with Device Monitor and more ways to respond to your calls with Reply Now.

This updated release also includes the following enhancements:
-Applications - No more limits on the number of applications that can run in the background.
-64 GB Support - Now with support for 64 GB (or higher) SD Cards.
-Enhancements to Bluetooth, Media and Browser amongst other improvements.

Visit BlackBerry 10 Software Updates - New Update Software for BlackBerry Smartphones - US for more information; otherwise just select the update option below.
As always, before beginning the update we recommend that you make a current backup of your BlackBerry 10 smartphone.

Just want to reiterate was some others have said:

You may notice battery drainages, failing apps, device over-heating, and other problems in the first day or two after an update.

Some have suggested, rebooting, plugging to computer and removing battery and placing back in, leaving on for a long charge, etc. Not sure if any of that is true but it us worth considering before freaking out about the update.

It's best to just persevere with those issues, they will settle down and are expected with every OS update.

I just installed this update, and one of my email accounts (an MS Exchange account) stopped working. It no longer updates, and it won't even show emails as read after I've looked at them.

This is a big concern. Is anybody else having similar email problems?

I guess you have to enter the password for the account again in Settings. Had the same issue last time.

Man this is a bizzare update the version on the prompt after reboot was like 10.1.2.2069 even though in settings it says 10.1.2.30etc

Also I just got a crap ton of texts flagged as new - prepare to be spammed.

    Posted via CB10

Edit: all of my text messages got unconnected with my contacts - then came back.

What does this upgrade even do ?

Thanks for the suggestion, pokusko. But unfortunately that doesn't seem to have solved the problem. Email still not updating.

After the update, all my text messages, not labelled by name of sender, but only their phone numbers are shown. According to the other forums on CB, it will be alright after 30 mins to an hour. Hopefully it will be ok. Haha, I was excited thinking it was the 10.3 update!
