    There might already be a thread on this topic, but since I just got a Z30, I thought I might share my thoughts on BB10's music player.

    First of all, it's TERRIBLE! I don't know how you guys can use it. It doesn't even display the song names correctly. Every single other music player out there (VLC plater, Samsung's music player...) have displayed the song names correctly, however this music player seems to display the file names or something.

    Second of all, while we can choose between the categories Artists, Genres or Albums, Song names isn't a category? Seriously?

    Anyway, sorry for the little rant. It's just disappointing that such a good OS has such a poor music player. Has anyone else had these problems?

    Agreed, there are some irritating things about the music player. Especially the songs category that you mentioned.

    I'd just be happy if there was a way to prevent it starting automatically when connected to Bluetooth. Makes it dsmn near impossible to use any streaming music site when everytime a call comes in then ends the music player starts up.

    I had the same reaction so five minutes after I first opened music player I downloaded Neutron. Problem solved.

    I'm running the Passport, so maybe it's different on 10.3, but I can list by all song names...

    I mostly used the music player as a shuffle thing when I go running so I never notice such problems but then, to browse by song name there's the All Songs section. On top is the most played song and after that is songs' name alphabetically

    If you want to sort your songs by name, simply go to "All Songs"
