So I just loaded up the newest leak and am so disappointed to see that the loading animation icon has been changed from the cool BlackBerry squircle dance to a boring grey circle resembling the old blue one. So lame. What's the deal?

Some people have a medical condition that has been aggravated by the squircle. It has kicked off a few migraine headaches and may even cause epileptics to seize. I am glad this issue has been addressed as one of my close friends was affected in a negative way by the squircle. I'm truly sorry, but it needed to be changed.

Everyone whose seen the cool blue loading screen thought it was cool. Yes it's a little thing (as mentioned),


But "polish" IS just a bunch of little things!


I really don't get BlackBerry's decisions anymore. They often seem to make decisions IN SPITE of their users' preferences, not based on our preferences!

BUT.... I think they could still change it back. They actually listened to us about the horrific non-translucent rectangle boxes they wanted to put around the BB10 home screen icons.

Maybe they'll listen to us regarding this as well!

You can invent the time travel as it it opens a black hole.

You can make mad wild love as the spinning is an aphrodisiac.

The list is only limited by your imagination.

If I parse your post correctly your trying insinuate that the squircle is associated with epilepsy.

While I can understand that epilepsy is a disorder of the nervous system and as such a potentially serious issue for people I would disagree with your assertion that the squircle "needed to be changed."

By following your method of thinking community first responders should not use the warning lights on their rescue vehicles while traveling to an emergency. (strobe lights are known to cause seizures)

Not to mention the holiday lighting that people display for the enjoyment of all the little children.
