I hated the squircle.

I thought it looked cheap and dated. Looking at it was reminiscent of the hour glass on my old 7290. Very glad they changed it.

The newest one is my favorite so far, but if it was up to me I'd keep the design of the newest one but give it the colours of the original one.

To be honest, I loaded 1047 leak and I was really happy that animation wait circle is changed to cool one but now in latest leak they went back to grey ugly looking circle. Please listen to these people bring back cool looking BlackBerry squircle dance. please please please............

I'm not saying that the squircle couldn't have been improved.

Hey I'm quoted here saying that it should be in color.

My main point is and has been that having something unique was cool.

Having a round circle that chases it's self is dated no matter what color it is.

Being progressive in design is difficult to nail with frist try. But going backwards is not the new BB way, or so they keep telling us.

I thought the "squircle" was awesome and extremely unique. It's a shame BlackBerry changed it to the lame and outdated plain grey circle it is now. I thought it could of been improved by making it the same colors as the loading screen. The blue color would change as a way of indicating loading time. just how the loading screen goes from a certain blue to a different blue. Not sure if anyone can picture what I mean.

Why not make it a user setting, choose the icon you prefer, next use a color picker to choose the color you like and presto. Companies then can create their own icon and push it to their company supplied devices.

Add on that set of subseetings dark vs white them too.
And there you make plenty users happy
